Just got back from the oncologist.
He tells me there has been a subtle progression of the disease on one of the tumours on my liver and he found another small spot. He says this is typical of the average person that takes Sutent that the effects wear off after about a year. This makes me average.
He has suggested that I go to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto to possibly take part in a clinical trial.
They may have a different or newer drug to try.
In the mean time I am off my current medication until we go and talk to the folks at Sunnybrook.
As you can tell this is not the news we were looking to hear. So for now it's wait and see.
