Medical Update - Dec. 9, 2010

Had another visit with the oncologist Tuesday morning.
He tells me that the CAT scan showed that the tumors
on my liver have gotten a little smaller from the initial scan a few months ago.
Good news indeed.
My Hemoglobin count is also up which is good.

I asked him how long I would be taking this medication going forward and he suggested that at some point it may no longer be effective. He also said that he has another patient who has been on it for 3 years and he is still stable.
My tolerance of the medication was looking good for me to be somewhat similar.
Only time will tell.

I see him in 6 weeks and probably won't have another CAT scan for another couple of months.
