Random musings on a Monday

It's another great day here in central Ontario. The weekend was nice and yard work was done.

Today I went and had the ownership changed on the new bike. Just waiting for an appointment at the bike shop to get it safety checked so I can slap some plates on it. Open road, here I come. :)
We can't wait to take a nice leisurely cruse around the Kawarthas.

It's slow at work today. Haven't seen the boss once. But then I rarely do. :)
Life is good.

The Stanley Cup playoffs continue tonight with the last of the quarter final rounds. Detroit is leading San Jose 3 games to 2. Possibly 2 more games before the semi-finals begin. Ottawa is waiting to take on the Sabers who eliminated the Rangers yesterday.

So Vancouver is out and we are all so sad. But Luongo was the only thing keeping them going anyway, so I don't think they deserved to win it. They've gotta do some trades over the summer, get rid of some of the old guys who aren't what they used to be. Goodbye Markus Naslund. Now I guess we're going for Ottawa, gotta keep the hockey love in Canada! Failing that I suppose Detroit will be our team.

I suppose you are right. Though I am not an Ottawa fan they are Canada's only hope at this point. Sad really.

So who DO you go for?

Primarily Calgary but I am a Leafs fan as they are the closest and we do go to 5 games a year.
That and the fact that I grew up in and around Toronto.
