Been a while.

I'm clearly not up to speed with this blogging thing. I have this darn thing but never remember to put stuff in it. Even then, what to write?

Two weeks ago I spent a week in Myrtle Beach golfing with my brother Bob and a couple of friends. Let me tell you the courses were fabulous. The weather was mostly perfect and we had a good time. I can see myself doing that again. But first I must go on some sort of vacation with my significant other. :)
We have only ever gone on a 'vacation' once and that was back in 2001 when we went to the Daytona 500. Even at that is was only a quickie vacation because Susan was in the middle of the semester and had to get someone to cover her classes while we were away.
I think somewhere warm next February would be in order when we have our winter break week.
This means that we will have to get passports. I've only ever had a passport once and it was unused. I've never been a world traveller. Not that I wouldn't mind it's just that the opportunity has never presented itself.
That and the financial end of the equation.
